Erin may be new to the Laurel Playhouse, but she’s no stranger to the theater! Erin has an extensive educational theater background as founder of the Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre, a non-profit theater company based in Alabama. After running this incredible program for the past 15 years, she has set her sights on the Laurel stage. Erin brings with her nearly two decades of experience as an actor, director and stage manager. When she’s not busy creating magic on the stage, Erin enjoys quality time with her husband, Karl, and children Ezra and Zoe. We’re excited to see Erin take Laurel Theatre to new heights!

Marc is back with his magic and returns this summer to lead our stage production program, following a 40-year career for Disney Animation. At Disney, Marc was a show production and theme display craftsman, a sculptor in the Character Art Department, the Creative Manager of Character Artwork in Singapore and the Creative Director of Character Art in Tokyo. Marc also worked with Disney Consumer Products, was the Creative Manager for the Arribas Brothers in Orlando and worked as a head sculptor at the Disney Scenic Shop and Walt Disney Imagineering. We are absolutely thrilled and so lucky to have Marc, a Navy veteran and exceptionally talented artist, returning for summer #3 in Laurel Theatre.

Morgan Brown

Morgan joins us for her inaugural Laurel summer to lead our Dance Program. She earned her Master's degree in Dance and Choreography from the California Institute of the Arts and has been teaching dance at the collegiate level for more than a decade. Ballet, jazz, tap, modern, choreography -- you name it, Morgan’s done it! Having designed movement programs for students of all ages from K-12, Morgan is the perfect fit to oversee our Dance Program. We’re absolutely jazzed to have Morgan encouraging our campers to develop their passion for dance this summer!

Karl joins the Laurel family heading up Rockport with years of music performance and production experience. A former 3rd grade teacher, Karl decided to pursue his passion for music in 2004 and opened Green Room Studio in Alabama. A man of many talents, Karl is trained as a drummer and singer with a background in all types of music. He enjoys performing live during the week with various local music artists. When not playing music, Karl enjoys jiu-jitsu and spending time with his wife, Erin, and two children. We’re thrilled to have Karl’s personality and music knowledge to lead our Rockport crew this summer
